The city of the consuls must be a city of high culture.

And if it is known as such from a hundred years ago until today, then tradition must be cherished in every aspect of life. Bitola is recognizable by the old architecture, the famous pedestrian street, old market and trading center since the 15th century, churches, mosques, clock tower and again today, many consulates.

Bitola is the second largest city in Macedonia and educational center in southern part of the country. Near the city is national park Pelister and winter ski resort which is great place for holiday and recreation. Visited by a lot of tourists who are coming to Macedonia and also from Greece, because border is only 15km from Bitola. One of the famous attraction in the city is ancient site Heraclea where are well preserved remainings from IV cen.B.C. One museum is dedicated to Kemal Ataturk, father of modern Turkey who graduated on the Military Academy in Bitola.
