Mentioned in documents from the XV century, Krushevo is a living museum.

Famous for its traditional architecture, historical sites and revolution against Ottoman domination. Krusevo even today is symbol of the national struggle for freedom and democracy. Dedicated to the revolution, there is museum and big monument on the same place. Small town is also winter ski resort on 1300 m above sea level. In XXI cen. Krusevo become very popular because is place where was born Tose Proeski, most popular singer on the Balkan, who died very young in 2007. A lot of fans of the mega star coming to visit the grave and memorial house of Tose.
