Struga is a small beautiful city on the shore of Lake Ohrid and widespread on the both sides of river Crn Drim.

Known as a city of poetry due to brothers Miladinovi who are responsible for the preservation of the Macedonian language through history. In their honor is held festival "Struga Poetry Evenings" every summer and the places around have a names like a "Bridge of Poetry" and "Park of the Poetry". Because of the Lake Ohrid, Struga is a tourist center with several hotels and beautiful beaches.

Pedestrian street with stores and restaurants, especialy oriental sweet shops is interesting place for enjoying. The best speciality in the restaurants is eel which live in the Lake Ohrid. Near the city are some tourist settlements where there is a well-preserved cave churches from XIV cen.
